JANE LINDEN, DVM graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  Upon graduation she completed an additional year of intensive training know as an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Rowley Animal Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts.  Dr. Linden worked in private practice for 5 years after her internship and finally fulfilled her dream of opening her own veterinary hospital in Providence.  In addition to her veterinary education, Dr. Linden received her Bachelors degree from Brown University as well as a Masters in Social Work from Boston University.  She lives in Providence with her family, including 3 dogs and 3 cats.
Dr. Corinna Barry DR. CORINNA BARRY has a BS in Biological Science from Kalamazoo College in Michigan and received her DVM degree in 1996 from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Barry has worked with farm animals at Bristol County Veterinary Hospital as well as in relief work on Grand Bahama Island and throughout Rhode Island. She and her husband are restoring a sailboat and hope to have it seaworthy very soon. They share their home with Jack, adopted from the RISPCA in 2008.
MICHELLE SYLVESTER is the hospital manager of Providence River Animal Hospital.  She has been working in the veterinary field since 1999.  Michelle joined Dr. Linden when Providence River Animal Hospital was founded in 2004.  In addition to caring for her animals, Michelle enjoys making sea glass jewelry, playing sports and relaxing at the beach.  Michelle and her husband, Zach, are the proud parents of Mirage, their loving ten-year old dog, and two cats, Sylvester and Tweety.  Michelle is also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Emily Kavan EMILY KAVAN joined Dr. Linden and the PRAH team as a veterinary technician in 2008 after relocating from Oregon to Providence. She has been working in this field for the past 14 years, starting in 1996 at Nederland Veterinary Clinic in Colorado. She has extensive experience in pre/post operative care, dental prophylaxis and radiograps in addition to managerial skills. Emily brings a broad base of experience to PRAH, but more importantly, a strong passion for animals.
TARA BURGESS was drawn to her career as a veterinary technician due to her strong love of animals. She has been working in this field since 2005 and she joined our hospital staff in July of 2008. Tara's love of animals extends beyond her job. She and her husband Leo live with their four dogs Chloe, Buster, Emma and Ali. In her spare time she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
TARA DIFRUSCIO has obtained experience and skills through 5 years of dedicated animal care service. She is the newest addition to PRAH and its staff as a veterinary technician. Her experience ranges from kennel technician at a boarding facility to a Certified Animal Specialist at PetCo. She is dedicated to animals and their care and we are happy to welcome her to the staff.
